Lip Seal Rings for Drinking Water
SIEGEL Dichtungen develops and produces lip seal rings specifically for drinking water installations: sealing rings with one or more sealing lips for pipe joints, sockets, valves and fittings. The elastic lip compensates for tolerances, seals even at low contact force and stays reliably tight under water pressure.
Materials
Various elastomers & TPE

Your benefits
Why Lip Seal Rings for Drinking Water from SIEGEL
For drinking water
Made of EPDM blue: drinking water compliant, already meets the positive list of the upcoming EU DWD. Other materials include peroxide-cured black EPDM.
Reliably tight
Under water pressure, the sealing lip is pressed against the sealing surface and seals reliably.
Low assembly force
The elastic lip compensates for tolerances and makes joining pipe and socket easier.
To drawing
Lip geometry, hardness and dimensions to your specification, injection or compression moulded.

Lip seal rings for drinking water installations
Lip seal rings are sealing rings with one or more elastic sealing lips. When pipe and socket are joined, or when the ring is fitted into valves and fittings, the lip rests against the sealing surface. As water pressure rises, it is pressed on even harder, so the joint stays reliably tight even when pressure fluctuates. At the same time, the lip compensates for dimensional and positional tolerances and keeps assembly force low.
Material and approvals
For contact with drinking water, we make lip seal rings from our EPDM blue. The compound is KTW-BWGL compliant and already meets the positive list of the upcoming EU DWD. Testing to EN 681-1 and EN 16421 (W270) is targeted; certification by the DVGW is possible on request.
Made to drawing
We define lip geometry, hardness and dimensions together with you. Depending on quantity and geometry, we manufacture by injection moulding, transfer moulding or compression moulding. All drinking water applications can be found under drinking water.
