Protection against moisture, dust and other environmental influences

Similar to terminal box seals, the geometry of housing seals is much more complex, which is why they are used in numerous devices, motors, transmissions and applications.

One example would be the sealing of a transfer gearbox for commercial vehicles of all kinds or to protect against the ingress of media or water in electrical assemblies and components.

We manufacture housing seals according to drawings, samples or your installation part.

On request, we can also make them from materials with very high temperature resistance or from electrically insulating materials.

Material

The materials processed include NK, SBR, NBR, CR, EPDM, H-NBR, PUR... foamed materials such as cellular rubber (closed-cell) and sponge rubber (open-pore), silicone and Viton FPM/FKM.

Temperature resistance

Resistant in a wide temperature range from -60°C to > +200°C for use in various environments, countries and applications.

On request, the seals can also be produced in accordance with various approvals, e.g:

- UL94 V0- V1- V2 (regulation for the classification of flammability)
- KTW, EN16421- formerly W270 (drinking water)

Tool costs

Depending on dimensions and geometry, manufactured from low-cost steel strip cuts to keep costs to a minimum

Self-adhesive film

Also self-adhesive on one side for better mounting assistance, equipped with a cover paper for quick mounting or a punched tab for easy removal of the film

IP protection classes

Complies with various IP protection classes, e.g. IP64, to ensure the degree of protection against water and dust ingress according to the requirements of your application
